Vivacity 650 SOLD

Heron

Vivacity 650 for sail.

It’s a capable little boat that’s taken me from South Woodham Ferrers to Mersea and Maldon a few times, and over to Kent and down the Thames.  Check out my YouTube channel for videos of it under sail.

Simon Burkey – YouTube

It’s had new upholstery inside, new winches, new sacrificial strip on the gib and a new main sail cover in the last year or so.  Comes with leasure battery and a solar panel that keeps it charged for my needs including depth sounder, auto-pilot (not included), cabin lights and charging electronics and has a chemical toilet. No stop-cock holes in the hull to worry about.

The engine is a 6hp four stroke sail drive Tohatsu that’s perfect for the boat. It’s two years old so has 5 years left of the 7 year manufacturer warranty and has full dealer service history from Essex Marine on Canvey. The engine has fused connectors designed to be routed to charge the battery, I’ve not found it necessary to connect it up.  I bought the engine brand new, I’d recommend taking it with the engine for confidence and reliability, but I’d be happy to keep it too if you wanted to source your own.
Please contact me for more information or to view, it’s currently on shore at South Woodham Ferrers Yacht Club.

Hunter 23 “Teazy” SOLD

Teazy has been in the club for a while, only now being sold due to unforeseen circumstances.

She is 23ft, and one of the faster cruisers in the club.

She comes with a mooring* if required, crispy sails, new sea-toilet, autohelm and various other bits and pieces.

Hunter 23’s usually have the outboard in a well in the cockpit. Teazy has had this well fibre-glassed over in favour of extra storage space. The outboard is thus mounted on a bracket on the transom.

Included is an old outboard, and most likely a tender as well (tbc)

*while the mooring gear is in place, the CHA require a £179.94 annual payment, as well as £78.89 annually for the river licence.

Membership of the club is as little as £138 in the first year (reducing to £93 in subsequent years).

Haulage is £60, and this boat can be stored in the yard over winter for £92.

Teazy is currently on the hard in our club and can be viewed by appointment.

Contact me for further details and viewings, on behalf of the owner.

Sea Kayak £600 – SOLD

my much loved Valley Etian 17:7, Valley would say

Fast, straight tracking but still with the hint of playfulness. The longer waterline, of the Etain, ensures that performance is maintained and handling remains predictable, even when laden.

I would agree with this
