You can join with full access to our rowing gigs, kayaks, paddleboards, and sailing dinghies from as little as £138 in the first year, reducing to £93 for subsequent years!

- [Learning to Sail](https://swfyc.com/index.php/2023/10/11/learning-to-sail/): Unfortunatly we are unable to provide a qualified teaching programme. Members of the club are often happy to teach new or existing members new skills, on a personal basis. The club also has an 20% discount arrangment with a local sail training center. If you are already able to sail, then we shall verify your ability and then you may use the sailing boats that the club owns. These include Toppers, Guls, Herons and even a Drascombe Dabber! Members donate £5 towards the maintenance of a club sailing boat, each time they use one.

Unfortunatly we do not have room to store trailers only. All of our moorings are half tide, we are unable to accept deep or long keel boats. The club owns a number of sit-on-top style, kayaks, singles and doubles, available for member use. The sit-on-tops are ideal for exploring the local esturary and it’s creeks. The club has no staff – we all muck in to mow the lawns, maintain the haulage gear, repair the clubs boats, and all the other small tasks that keep the place running.
